TGIF!!

I am so happy it's Friday ( I feel like I say that every week!). We have a fun and busy weekend ahead!

Today for lunch I am going to meet my friend Lara to talk about the Little League concession stand for the upcoming season. We are going to be in charge of shopping for supplies and food and getting parent volunteers to work during the games. I haven't seen her for a while and I can't wait to see her and catch up! We had so much fun working together last season!

Tonight after work I am meeting a few friends at Applebees for happy hour to start planning a baby shower for my friend Robin. We are going to have the shower for Robin at work on April 8 so we have to talk about the theme, snacks, games, etc. It should be fun and I am looking forward to it!

On Saturday Graig and I are going to go to a fundraising dinner for our College's women's soccer team, they are raising money to go to Disney World, after the dinner we are going to go to a 39th birthday party for our friend Shawn (my friend Sabrina's husband). Shawn and Graig coach Little League together and on game days they talk at least 5 times during the day about their lineup, strategy, etc. Sabrina and I think they are so funny because they both get so into the game! New Years Giveaway!!

Today was our first day "back in the real world" after Christmas vacation. I decided it would be a good day to start going to the gym...I pay $50 per month to go and last year I went maybe 10-15 times the whole year (I know isn't that awful!!!) Anyway, I told Graig that I would give up my gym membership this year if I didn't start going more. So, this morning I got up at 5am and went to the gym. I did the elleptical, situps and some weight training. I am soooooo sore right now!! Graig took Brock and Ava to a basketball game tonight, thank goodness because I was so tired I feel asleep on the couch at 7pm!! I am determined to go again tomorrow morning so I want to get to bed early tonight!

I also thought I would start 2009 by doing a giveaway!! I bought this family organizer last week and I think it will be a great way to keep organized in the new year!! Post a comment and Brock and Ava will choose a winner on Friday! Good luck!!

Sledding Sunday!

Since we have a ton of snow from the storm on Friday this afternoon we decided to go sledding with two other families this afternoon. We were outside for 2 1/2 hours today, the weather was perfect for sledding!

This tube sled was the fastest! It was so fun going down the hill on this sled!

The girls made a tube train and went down the hill all together.

Tonight we went to Wal-Mart because I had to get a few last minute things for our Christmas dinner. Yesterday, Grandpa Larry gave Brock and Ava their Christmas money. Brock is saving his money but Ava couldn't wait to spend hers! Tonight she picked out this Cabbage Patch doll. Ava also picked the winner of my 100th post giveaway. Katie is the winner! Congrats Katie!!
