Weekend fun!

This weekend we had a nice balance between work and fun which is always nice.  Graig and I got a ton of stuff done around the house and we also got to celebrate this weekend with friends which is always great.

Yesterday our friends Dave and Amy hosted a party at their property by a lake.  It was a beautiful day and a great day to be outside.  The party started in the afternoon and went til late.

Here is the beautiful lake it was so nice being on the water.

Me friend Heidi and I went in a  canoe with her daughter Mickaela.  Thankfully we didn't tip over.  I'm sitting on my life jacket :-).

Ava and her BFF Avery.  They tried taking this picture about 50 times before it came out.

I love these ladies so much I'm thankful for each and every one of them.  I love little Lachlan too he is so sweet.  Sara got him ready for bed right before we took this picture.

Me and the hostess with the mostest Amy.

Pilar and Eliza love little Lach they are little mommies to him.

Me and Heidi we were posing like our daughters always do with their hands on their hips.

Today Brock had a flying lesson and he flew to Binghamton which is about an hour from our house. This is the first picture I have of him in the cockpit.

I told him to text me a picture so I could see what he sees when he's up in the air.  This is the picture he took.

Hope you had a great weekend!

Catch Up!

I am the world's worst blogger!  It's been two whole months since I've updated and lots has happened so I will catch you up with this post.  These are in reverse order starting with our most recent pics and going back to March-yikes!  I need to do a better job staying on top of this blog!

Anywhoo yesterday was very exciting because the President came for a visit!  He spoke at the baseball hall of fame about tourism in upstate NY.   I took off work and Ava and I went to Cooperstown hoping to see President Obama.  The Hall of Fame event was an invitation only event so we stood on the street hoping to get a glimpse of him.  We were thrilled when we saw his motorcade!  It was a fun day and I am so glad that we went.  It was a once in a lifetime event and I am glad that were were there.

Wednesday night Ava and I took Noah and Lachlan out for dinner.  We have so much fun with these cutie pies.

Since it's the end of the year we have had a lot of senior events for our graduating students.  Here is a picture of me and my friend Danielle at one of our events.

I went with my friends the Heidi's (I call them because they are both named Heidi) to a fundraising event for the College that they work at.

I also attended the annual garden club luncehon with my friends Rachael and Michelle.

Earlier this month I visited my sister and her family and my Dad and Vicki for a few days.  It was great catching up with them.  Ainsley is getting SO big it was great to see her again.

Before I left I had a girl's night out with some friends.

In May I also said goodbye to my two spring semester interns.  I will miss Megan and Lauren so much. Megan is off to law school in the fall and Megan is going to graduate school for higher education.

Graig's brother Garth and his family visited us in April.  It was great to see them and our sweet nephew Gabe.  He is precious.  Here are Brock and Ava with Grandma Jan and Gabe.

Brock's high school baseball season ended yesterday.  We have spent our days this spring at his baseball games.  Here he is tagging out someone at first base.  He is playing on two baseball teams this summer so there is a lot more games in our future.

That's it for us!  Sorry this post formatted weird.    My goal for the summer is to update more often.  This weekend we have a couple of Memorial Day parties to attend and Brock is in a basketball tournament in Albany.  It will be a fun weekend for us!  Happy Friday.
