Today our sweet baby girl, Ava, graduated from kindergarten! Graig and I can't believe how fast she has grown. Ava has been so excited about her graduation. She has been talking about it for weeks. Two nights ago she laid out her outfit on top of her dresser so she would be prepared for her big day (she is such a planner~Graig is so proud). Anyway, the theme was "Oh The Places You Will Go." The kids dressed up like what they wanted to be when they grew up. How cute is that?? Ava was a...........kindergarten teacher. She wore a pink flowered skirt and shirt with tights and white sandals. (How do you dress up a kid to be a teacher??-Ava thought this was the perfect outfit). After the kids came out in their first outfits they changed in to their caps and gowns while the parents watched a slide show of all of the things the kids have done this year. The slide show was soooo good. I can't believe all of the things that she did this school year. She had field trips to a farm, apple orchard, pumpkin patch and the YMCA. Ava's kindergarten teacher is one of my very dear friends, our husbands went to school together. I am so grateful that Ava had her as a teacher this year. Angie, thank you so much for all that you have done for Ava this year :) My favorite part of the whole ceremony was the last song the kids sang~ "Wind Beneath My Wings" and did these hand motions to go with it. It was the sweetest song ever and a perfect way to end the ceremony. After the graduation we had snacks and punch (this was Brock's favorite part of the day) and then the kids were dismissed for the day. Sorry I don't have any pics yet, my digital camera died recently, I haven't picked out a new one. I sent Graig to the store to get a disposable camera that we could use for the graduation. I will post pictures when I get them back. I did attach a picture of Brock, Ava and I when Brock was 4 1/2 and Ava was six weeks old. How sweet are they? I can't believe how fast time flies by!! Tomorrow is the last day of school. Brock and Ava can't wait!
