Weekend Fun!

Sarurday I went to Sharin Sprjngs with my friend Petrea for some shopping and lunch at the American Hotel.  It was fabulous!!

Saturday night Sabrina had me, Stephanie and Rachael over to show us her new living room.  It's always fun hanging out with these girls.  She has been working so hard on it and it looks fantastic!

I love how she painted her shelves white and her fireplace gray.  It looks so great!

She also added this little seating area which I think looks fabulous.

Sunday Petrea invited a few of us over for brunch.  I wish I would have taken pictures of the food because it was wonderful!  We had a good time catching up.

After brunch I raced home to go to Brock's basketball game and then Ava and I went to a Memorial Day party.

It's been a fun weekend.

Memorial Day decorations!

I always like to decorate our dining room cabinet for the holidays abs Memorial Day is no exception.  When we got home from shopping yesterday I thought I would decorate this little area to make it festive for the weekend.  We aren't having a party but I still like it festive!

Happy Saturday

A day in Hamilton

Today I spent the day with two of my favorite people doing two of my favorite things-shopping and eating.

Sabrina, Ava and I went to Hamilton,NY  for an afternoon of fun!

We arrived at lunch time and headed to lunch.  We went to the Colgate InnTavern and it was delicious!

After lunch we walked around downtown Hamilton and went into the cutest little shops.  Colgate University is in Hamiltkn and it was fun to see all the Colgate stuff in the shops.

I fell in love with this pillow.  It matches nothing in my house so I had to pass it up :-(

We made a quick stop for frozen yogurt.

And Avs found her 8th grade graduation dress!

We did more shopping  and then came home in time for dinner.

I got a few gifts for people and I got these glass vases.  I think they will be perfect on our dining room table this summer!

It wa a fun day!

Life lately

Brock started his summer job on Monday.  He works 6am-2:30pm everyday at the College cleaning Iand moving furniture.  It's a hard job but he's loving it so far!

Ava has been busy with school and basketball practice.  We also started looking for 8th grade graduation dresses.  So far she likes this one the best!

Last weekend we went to a housewarming party for my friend Laura. She and her husband moved to a beautiful house so it was fun to get together and celebrate them!

Monday I went to the high school for a scholarship presentation.  I'm on a race committee in town and all the money that we raise at the race go to various charities benefitting children and to s scholarship for a graduating senior. Here is a picture with everyone involved with the race or the scholarship selection committee and the scholarship winner.

I've been slowly getting flowers for our yard.  I just LOVE this time of year!

We have a long weekend ahead of us!!  I can't wait!

Our Ava had a full weekend of basketball.  She had 4 games Saturday and 4 games on Sunday.  She played soooo hard and had the best time.  Here are some action shots of her playing.

Branch and Bloom {Craft Night}

We had our monthly craft night on Feuday night.  We made concrete planters.  It was a small one we only had three participants but I think it was good because thus craft was so messy!

Here's our table all set up!  We try and make our craft night look nice but this one was impossible so we did our best :)
You need Portland concrete, perlite, Pete miss and water to do this project.

Here are our ladies plus two little helpers hard at work!

My friend Isabel brought her 3 kids because her husband was working.

They all made concrete handprints :-)

Here we all are with our messy hands!

You mix equal parts of he ingredients listed above and the consistency should be like cottage cheese.

These take a week to dry so I'll show you the finished product when they are done drying.

It was a great night!

Next month we are making sugar scrubs!

Branch and Bloom {Open House}

This morning we had our Open House for Branch and Bloom.  We had a great turnout and people had a great time.

Rachael and I raced around to get everything ready.  Ava came to help thank goodness!  She took our picture before the party started.

We had a few snacks set up for people to munch on during the Open House.

We had a selfie station with photo props. People loved it!

We set up the monthly craft projects so people could see what we are going to make. We also introduced people to our brand and had people sign up for classes.

We also set up a little table for kids crafts.

It was a great morning.
